I ran across this in my current game:

I wish I could have gotten a screenshot at the beginning of the fight, when the Sanctum knocked out probably three quarters of the zoanthropes with one wave.

Nice!

I see you have a lancer cannon installed. I tried one for the first time a couple of days ago.

It burns! It burns!

Bad burn, or good burn?

I kinda liked it; it makes an excellent flyswatter for the low level enemies that persist into the late game, like heliotropes and miners. It does a fair job on sung. It's passable against ranx, even. It can take out Huari okay, if you get up nice and close and pump your shots into the backside of the front wedge. Granted, I had it enhanced to about +70 by then.

I didn't keep it around too much longer; I think I traded it in the next system for a dual tev.

Good burn.

I was using my Wolfen, the HMS Shaka Eastwood, and first thing I loot off a charon base was a lancer cannon. After bumping up my ship with a reactor upgrade, I installed the lancer, enhanced it to fast, and thrashed my way all the way until the system after St Katherines, where I discovered I could exploit the BM.

I remember in my first game I came across a system with atleast 5 dwarg colonies and a black market shipyard near the stargate. Swarms of dwarg raiders warped in for ages only to be blasted into oblivion by the molotoks. The whole radar screen and beyond was filled with little red dots from dwarg wrecks. Although to the credit of the dwarg, there were a couple molotok wrecks.

Mmm...sounds almost as tasty as an adventurer's outfitters next to a ferian colony. :D

No, no warship mod. I typically play vanilla transcendence, thank you very much. :P

My brother once got a corp cruiser to attack a ferrian colony. It was swarmed, and even though it blew them away, it eventually fell under the onslaught.

The Ferrian warship mod is the only one I play with now. I will play with the Wrench mod when the wrench becomes useful. I might use the Fleet mod when I finish work on it. I don't use playerships or high-level weapons.
