Ion Power Capacitors vs Longzhu Spheres

At the Corporate Trading Post I can order one Ion Power Capacitor for 4000 credits, or I can order one Longzhu Sphere for 1200 credits.

An Ion Power Capacitor is a beautiful device which enhances your Ion Weapon damage, however, the Longzhu Sphere can do that and much more, yet its available for only a fraction of the price.

Is there any reason to order the Ion Power Capacitor that being the case? Is there something it does I don't know about?

My suggestion for change is that you could order two Ion Power Capacitors rather than just one. That would make it worth ordering instead of the Longzhu

I'll buy them if I can find them, just for the convenience. But what I'm saying is later in the game, when one might need them, why bother ordering an Ion Power Capacitor over a Longzhu Sphere?

The Longzhu Sphere is cheaper and - on the face of it - better.

You can always use both...but use a Longzhu first, then the Ion Power Cap's afterward--save the rest of the Longzhu's for better useages.

Having the opportunity of getting the Lamplighter now puts the fun into using the QAC long before reaching Heretic w/o worries of Longzhu shortage.
