Why do they say they need to hack it? Cause they're noobs, thats why, noobs who probably hack every single multi player game, and single player game, out there! People who like to hack just about anything they can get their hands on cause it makes them feel special...
Heh, did I say that out loud? Bottom line: They aren't smart enough to figure this stuff out. I mean, a five year old could figure it out! C'mon, I did, sort of. It's a "Learn-as-you-go" kinda thing. the only difference is that THEY wait for some one to come out with cheats, hacking programs, Action Replay codes, and anything else I missed, instead of going on the original site and seeing if there is anything there that ISN'T a load of BS (Pardon my abbreviated French)
Yes, I'm done. I just had to get that out.

WARNING: this story may be disturbing (somebody dies from hacking)
This is a story about a (dumb) hacker.
I once met a guy in school who's sole reason for being kept alive is hacking Runecape. No matter how many time I told him he couldn't (because it is completely online, and their servers are only accessible by registered servers) he tried anyway. Remember how I said it was the only thing keeping him alive? one day he got it and hung himself with his dog collar and leash in his treehouse in his own backyard without anybody noticing for a couple hours.
At the risk of sounding like a bad person, I didn't actually like him. He just claimed I was his friend and I rolled with it.

Really? If they were noobs, they wouldn't have been hackers. Didn't I say once that Transcendence is proprietary and the source code isn't available? I don't see what's wrong with hacking. In fact, it will do good, as bugs and exploits will be discovered.Charon Mass of Goo wrote:Why do they say they need to hack it? Seriously, to hack transendance is like hacking a text based game, there is no point to it.Desolator wrote:Really? If they were noobs, they wouldn't have been hackers. In Transcendence, all your hacking needs are provided right there! You could set it so you have god armor, make it so your ship recharges from solar power five hundred light-decades away, have a weapon that not only has omni-directional, multi-target, and super rapid fire, it would do 99d99 damage, wmd7, and every modifier that is even in the game. You can freakin customize a ship so it looks like a butt (No humor intended, it just came out that way). You could make it so there is a system that you can GET money just by entering a freaking station. Seriously, whats the point in hacking? All you need to do is come to these forums, learn yourself, and boom, there you go, your the ultimate master of retardedness (lol?)

Well, desolator, it's not perfect. It still has bugs. And although I haven't really bothered to find exploits, I'm sure there are exploits even in, as you call them, "List Language" games. The code is ever-increasing with all the mods everyone comes out with, and with all the ideas coming from the brilliant minds of these modders, more bugs MAY be caused.
