The Freighter: One very ugly ship

It looks pretty cool top-down like in the game. Side on though, ugly, ugly, ugly.

I submit for your consideration the following: Cargo carriers are traditionally ugly. It's simple economics, really. If you can cram more stuff into it by making it ugly, ugly it will be.

I'm ambivalent about it myself.
I always thought the old freighter was very good-looking (and I wish it would come back, even as a different ship) and I've always thought the Wolfen was kind of ugly. But then again I have been known to show odd tastes in design.

I can accept that an optimum design for a freighter will probably be ugly. I'm just saying that the freighter is uglier than I thought it was

The Wolfen is a pretty funky looking craft, but my favourite is the Sapphire Yacht.

Here, here! I'm thinking about resurrecting it in a mod. Miss the old tug but it would be nice to see it return as ya stated.

Freighters are always my favorite, besides Missle Frigates. Make a cargo Frigate with the capability to add tons of weaponry

but its a great starting ship, and you can get that engine upgrade. not to mention it has great cargo capacity.
