Currently the tinkers are impossible to extend without completely overwriting the station, a solution not friendly to multiple mods.
I'd like to see the tinkers changed to use a recipe list mods can extend.

Far from my simple mind, but I have seen Awesomely interesting code work on harder ideas then a tinker.

Ditto for Teraton fabricators.
I noticed the Sisters of Domina gained extension support in 1.07. Giving them the new sphere has a unique result. Tinkers and fabricators should support extensions too.
