Tinker problems

Currently the tinkers are impossible to extend without completely overwriting the station, a solution not friendly to multiple mods.

I'd like to see the tinkers changed to use a recipe list mods can extend.

half of me thinks I understand , the other half is screaming " Topology Hook " : meaning, I think, the Recipe idea to go by attributes / frequency, instead of individual items ?

Far from my simple mind, but I have seen Awesomely interesting code work on harder ideas then a tinker.

Ditto for Teraton fabricators.

I noticed the Sisters of Domina gained extension support in 1.07. Giving them the new sphere has a unique result. Tinkers and fabricators should support extensions too.

It's possible to code an extensible tinker without adding anything to the engine, but if it isn't done in vanilla it doesn't help the mod conflict problem.

we could temporarily circumvent the problem if every mod add a new dockscreen menu. However the player has to try every "custom work" "custom work 2" etc...
Not very friendly.
