Sooo......
Is that new game happening any time soon, does anyone know? *ahem* George? I think we've had the list of final changes up for a while now, and pretty much every last little detail has been covered (including The Great Mesophon Imbalance).
It will definitely be fun to jump into a new game with these updates, especially with the no-capital and graviton launcher bugs all fixed.
Guess I'll check back in another 2 weeks again and see what's up...
Restart happening?

I’ll poke him after Thursday’s stream. I might not play Anacreon myself, but I can imagine that a game where the fixed major bugs never played a role in galactic development at all would be a nice thing to have.

Make sure that he sees the list of requested minor tweaks compiled by Imperator and added to a little by me:AssumedPseudonym wrote: ↑Tue Mar 28, 2017 11:40 amI’ll poke him after Thursday’s stream. 1. Reduce hypersonic missile range to R:20
2. Make GDMs R:10, multi use OR increase stats
3. Cannon attack type for Hammerhead (currently uses missile)
4. R:10 for Hammerhead, R:15 for Cerberus
5. HalfLife:12 for Cerberus OR HalfLife: 10 for Minotaur
6. HalfLife:4 for Vanguard
7. Remove missile protection from Hammerhead and Cerberus
8. AoE:0.1 for Manta
9. D:96 for Defiance and D:144 for Manta
10. Given the recent buff to planetary defenses, new empires should probably start out with slightly more ships including a few Adamants or Siriuses so that they can conquer at least one independent world of TL4+ from the get-go. New players will be discouraged if they don't have a chance to redesignate a planet or establish a trade route during their first gameplay session.
11. Mesophon prices are based on obsolete era2 power values and some units are substantially cheaper to buy than build in practice, I recommend adjusting them to match this table:
If they are based on an equation, I suggest AE_Cost = (Supply_Chain)Inclusive_WU_cost/8) * ((minTL+2))/10)

I’ll point him at the list, but don’t get your hopes up. I’m pretty sure he mentioned that it might be fall before he digs back into Anacreon.

I believe he asked for a list of final minor revisions (these are mostly tweaks to library values).

If they're library values, we can put them into a pull request on Github so all he has to do is pull the changes, provided he agrees with them.

The current version running on the server, era3, is a branch off of master (which has the old ship and defense values). My understanding of Github is rudimentary- is it possible to create a branch off of a branch and then request a pull to the era3 branch?
Everything suggested is library values except for the Mesophon prices, which seem to be hardcoded.

Yep, we can make a fork off of the Era3 branch.

Haha, OK. To fork it you would navigate to the Era3 branch and then click "Fork" in the top right.
If you want I can put the pull request up this time.

No, I think I'm figuring this out. So when I fork it creates versions of both branches in my github account, which means that a pull request would basically be asking George to change his versions into my versions?

Ok, I have updated era3 at https://github.com/wTVd0/Anacreon-CoreLibrary/tree/era3 and submitted a pull request.
